John Feehan, dommer Oslo Dogshow 2025

I imported my first two Leonbergers from the Leonberget'z kennel in Sweden in 1991 and I have been involved with the breed ever since. 

I am the founder of the Manorguard Kennel, which was well known and respected throughout the Leonberger world during its active years. In the years that followed the arrival of my foundation stock, I imported several more Leonbergers, together with other breeders, in order to broaden the gene-pool and improve the quality of the Leonberger in the UK. 

During my years as a breeder I bred a total of 28 litters, among them some very successful show dogs such as Manorguard Adam and Champion Manorguard Proud Mary, the UK's first Leonberger champion. I also won the Top Breeder award in the UK several times. I am a CC awarding judge and have awarded Challenge Certificates several times in the UK, including Crufts in 2003. I have also judged in Sweden, the USA, France and the Netherlands. I am currently the President of the Leonberger Club of GB.
